Artists
We will never use art without the express permission of the
artist or their representatives. We do not condone copyright
theft and will always make the effort to correctly identify
the owner of the work used as ecards on this site. If you
think that a piece of art used on this site has been misattributed,
please get in touch.
We link to every artist who has been kind enough to allow
us to use their work on this site. They did not have to allow
us to use their art in this way and we are grateful for their
indulgence. Every piece of artwork should have copyright information
and the web address of the artist. Again, if you are aware
of any that do not carry this at the bottom please let us
know so we can rectify the situation as soon as possible.
Visitors
We are committed to making your visit to Virtual Cards UK
as pleasant an experience as possible and that is why you
will not find any pop up advertising on this site. This is
one of our main policies. We will also never sell or otherwise
distribute your email address to any third party. We will
email people who have sent ecards from this site from time
to time to pass on the latest news of new ecards and categories.
We undertake not to do so any more than four times per calendar
year. We also provide a link to unsubscribe from our email
list at the bottom of any such mailings.
Virtual Cards UK is not intended to be a profit making website.
Any advertising revenue will be used to offset the costs incurred
in running a high traffic site such as this one. We would
encourage you to click on as many of our sponsors as possible.
Any surplus will be put towards commissioning more cards for
the site. We hope to be able to offer animated cards at some
future date.
Links
We are happy to participate in link trades and webrings.
We will not under any circumstances knowingly link to sites
with pornographic content or that preach hate. We encourage
visitors to provide links to our site if they enjoy the content
and would like them to feel confident that no adult or offensive
content will be encountered. Due to the nature of some of
the work on this site we anticipate that it may be used by
children and therefore links to content of the nature described
above would be highly inappropriate.
